Rainbow Protea began operation in 1985. The farm encompasses over 198 acres and is approximately 60 miles north of San Diego, and 20 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. The farm enjoys a mild climate year round, which affords an ideal growing environment for Protea and other species.

Rainbow Protea employs a primarily organic approach to farming with extensive use of fish fertilizers, worm compost, along with tea and kelp products. Our flowers are harvested daily, precooled in our coolers and delivered by your preferred means of transport. Our experienced staff is always available to assist you!
